What this website does not do
bbs.energy sets no tracking or advertising cookies, uses no analytics service and embeds no third-party fonts, scripts or social-media plug-ins. Fonts are served from this domain. Your preferred language and colour theme are stored in your browser’s local storage only if you change them; nothing is transmitted.
Hosting
The website is delivered by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA) through its European edge network. When you open a page, the server processes your IP address, browser type and the requested URL to deliver the page and to detect abuse. Vercel acts as processor under standard contractual clauses. Access logs are retained briefly for security purposes.
Briefing requests
If you submit the “Request a briefing” form, we process the data you enter (name, organisation, role, email, area of interest, optional message, your consent and the submission language and time) in order to respond to your request and to arrange a briefing. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and, where a business relationship follows, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Submissions are relayed by a server function on Vercel and stored in a Google Forms response sheet in a Google Workspace account operated by SALZSTROM (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting dialogue, and deleted on request.
Downloads
Downloading the proposal PDF requires no registration and is not tracked beyond the server access log described above.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time with future effect by writing to the address above. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at).
